The RACPRO1-4SP series are 4-channel electronically fused load switches (e-Fuse) with independent overcurrent limit control and real-time output current indication. Each channel is protected separately, so that an overload or fault in a single load does not affect the overall reliability or operation of the system.
Useful LED indicators show the output current and change colour from green to yellow (current within limit), orange (current at limit) to red (overload or short circuit). The voltage-free DC-OK output can be used to monitor system functions. Each channel can also be switched on or off to facilitate fault diagnostics or maintenance.
RECOM e-Fuse RACPRO1-4SP/24V/10A fuses are available with a maximum channel current of 10A and 150% power amplification for 5s, but can handle 150% overload for up to 120ms to avoid nuisance tripping. The channels turn on sequentially to reduce the input inrush current with an adjustable delay. Under system overload conditions, the channels will disconnect the loads in reverse order, keeping the primary functions running to completion.The output overload or trip mode can be adjusted with a switch.
The e-Fuse fuses have a long life of >80,000h/40°C and easy wiring thanks to tool-free push-in terminals and release levers. The input and output terminals are also paired for easy daisy-chaining.
